About
After earning his Master's in School Counseling, Jay began his career in financial aid at a liberal arts college in Southern California before spending a decade guiding students in Colorado high schools. As Department Chair of Counseling at George Washington High School, he led diverse college counseling initiatives and was nominated for Colorado School Counselor of the Year for his commitment to student success.
Jay later transitioned to Valor Christian High School and now The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, Georgia, where he provides personalized college guidance tailored to students' diverse aspirations. In addition to his work in schools, he also leads Future to Find College Consulting, his private practice dedicated to helping students navigate the admissions process.
An active leader in the Atlanta college counseling community, he is also active in both the national and regional branches of the National Association for College Admission Counseling—particularly the Southern affiliate—and the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools. He frequently presents on topics related to college admissions and financial aid. He also serves on advisory boards for college admissions offices and coordinates the largest college fair in Georgia.
